Faithful
Faithful is the still popular debut release of Northern Voices. Released nationally in 1994, Faithful includes the hit, "If She Only Knew," which rose to #32 on the Gavin Report's Adult Contemporary chart. With lead vocals by Brett Raymond, and debuting on the Shadow Mountain level, "If She Only Knew" had the added distinction of being the only independent label release on the charts for consecutive weeks. The title track, "Faithful," and "Tell Me I'm Not Wrong Again," both sung by the million-selling group, The Jets, also received national airplay. The music of Northern Voices, penned by awardwinning composer, producer and recording artist Sam Cardon and lyricist Don Stirling, has been described as "a soundtrack for everyday living." Faithful delivers 11 songs, including the popular "Trains," sung by Kenneth Cope, and Cardon's piano instrumental, "The Stopping Place." Well-known sax man, Brandon Fields (The Rippingtons), guitar wizard Michael Dowdle, and recording artist Kurt Bestor add their talents to Faithful.
"Though "Faithful " is a fine place to begin, the duo's entire album is recommended. -Billboard Magazine May 2 7, 1995
